The Day of Good Deeds

​The morning of June 17, 2016, Mrs. Lynne came to the Jackson Free Press office to pick up the people who arrived early. She had a surprise for us. Mrs. Lynne brought us donut holes. That was the first good deed done. 

Later in the morning, Kelsee arrived. She brought breakfast for everyone. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast. We all ate at what I call the lunch table. 

Later at lunch time we were ordering pizza for the office. The people who were ordering the pizza was trying to find a way to split the money evenly. Zaccheus said, "Why won't y'all just let me pay for the pizza?" He wanted to pay for the pizza and didn't want to eat any of it even when offered. Everyone was very grateful. 
  
The day of good deeds was great. It definitely caught me by surprise. I'm not sure if it will happen again, but I sure enjoyed it while it lasted.
